Mat work for the deep core, then hips, mid-back and shoulders: the three places a desk, a car and a phone quietly take away from you.
Light bands and a small ball on some tracks, nothing heavy. Same room, same sound system, gentler playlist. Low intensity means your heart rate stays down while one specific muscle works harder than it wants to.
Ribs, breath and spine. Two tracks of slow movement to find out what's stiff today before we ask anything of it.
Dead bugs, bird dogs, planks and holds. Small range, long time under tension, nothing that involves yanking your neck.
Glutes, hip flexors, rotation and mid-back. The section you feel the day after, in the best possible way.
Long, supported stretches with the lights down and the volume low. The class ends flat on your back on purpose.
The immediate feeling is space: hips that swing further, a back that isn't asking for attention, shoulders down from around your ears.
It's also the quietest 45 minutes on the timetable. No push, no peak, no burnout round.
This is the class for it. Deep core and hip work is the pair that usually settles a grumpy back, and it's exactly what the middle half hour does.
Come anyway and take this one. Low intensity, real work, and you leave with more energy than you brought.
Booking this the day after either of the other classes is the single most useful thing you can do for how the rest of your week feels.
Lowest heart rate, most floor work, quietest room. A lot of members did their very first class here and moved on to the others afterwards.
Something you can stretch in, water, and socks if you prefer them to bare feet. Mats, bands and balls are at your spot. Trainers stay by the wall for this one.
